Our team

People who have sat on the buyer's side.

We know how buyers price a practice because we've done that work ourselves. At Truecrest, that experience works for the owner and no one else.

Troy Marchand, founder and managing advisor of Truecrest Advisory

Troy Marchand

Founder & Managing Advisor

Troy started as a senior analyst at a billion-dollar mutual fund company, where better than four out of five of his calls made money. He later founded and ran a private equity fund and sat on five private company boards. After that he worked as a fractional CFO for founder-led companies and built and sold businesses of his own.

He started Truecrest to put that experience on the owner's side of the table. He still gets things wrong sometimes, and he'll tell you when he does. What he won't do is take money from the buyer.

Who joins your deal

The right specialists, brought in when your sale needs them.

Every engagement is led by Truecrest. We bring in licensed professionals for the parts of a sale that call for them, and you approve each one.

M&A attorney

Drafts and negotiates the purchase agreement, your employment terms and the protections that survive closing.

CPA and quality of earnings

Confirms the earnings a buyer will pay for, so diligence backs up the price instead of cutting it.
